Factory Relocation – Diesel Technology blue-chip manufacturer
Back to Case StudiesComplete factory closure and factory relocation of clients’ machinery to south America, UK destinations and scrappage schemes. Diesel engine manufacturing lines, Cylinder Head production lines and Rail Diesel engine production lines all dismantled, packed and loaded by RRS Group. All logistics including transport and shipping managed and executed by our project teams. The second part of the project involved RRS Group working alongside the auctioneer and asset disposal company to decommission and load machinery for buyers in the UK this took around 4 months. RRS Group as Principle Designer and Principle Contractor worked closely with our client and their external CDM Advisor at all times ensuring the factory relocation pre-construction phase plan and construction phase plan was created at the start and adhered to throughout including the management of other contractors on site. Our comprehensive SHEQ management systems and CDM Regulations expertise was paramount throughout the project including clear leadership and communication in project meetings and working to time critical transport and shipping documentation.
